 the story of Murli Prasad Sharma, also known as Munna Bhai, played by Sanjay Dutt. Munna is a lovable goon, living in Mumbai, who is feared by people in his neighborhood for his violent reputation. However, he is also known for his big heart and strong sense of loyalty.

The story begins when Munna’s parents, especially his father, a respected and traditional man, are unaware of his criminal lifestyle. They believe that Munna is studying to become a doctor. When his father visits Mumbai to see his son, Munna’s secret is revealed. To avoid shame and disappointment, Munna promises his father that he will become a doctor.

Determined to fulfill his father's wishes, Munna enrolls in a medical college, pretending to be a genuine medical student.
